We are having five trees taken down on October 1. The huge silver maple is going. We are tired of raking millions of leaves out of mostly our neighbor's yard each fall. And the mulberry tree to the right of the coop is mostly dead. It's coming down before it falls down. My great sadness about this is for the squirrel nest in the maple. Our little squirrel friend runs from one tree top to the next. He's very busy all the time. Now his house is being destroyed. I hope he can find another place to live in our yard and get a nest built before winter.
