| Parke and I (as un-handy as we are) built a chicken tractor for the chickens. It's a simple frame covered in chicken wire. We can put the girls in there so they can be in the yard this summer. Due to the pair of hawks living nearby (and that killed our precious Phyllie in March), we can't let the girls free range unprotected. This "play pen" will keep them safe from the hawks and allow them to have yard time. |
