Molly is missing a couple front teeth, so her tongue tends to stick out of her mouth.

Molly and Morgan are such good friends.  They groom each other a lot.

Rusty, a Rhode Island Red, and Penny, a French black copper Maran, are still in the kennel area and not in with the other ones yet.

Chicken Program 10-31-12

We take the girls to nursing homes for chicken programs.  Here we are at Messiah Village.  It's about the third time we have been there.  I hold one chicken at a time and talk her and the breed. I walk her around and let each person pet her and see her close up.  Meanwhile, the rest of the flock is in the center of the room just being cute chickens.

New Chicks Rusty and Penny 9-25-12

Today I got two new chicks. Rusty is a Rhode Island Red.  Penny is a French Black Copper Maran.  We don't know if they are hens or roosters.  We have to wait till they are older to find out. 

New Cats, Molly and Morgan 9-23-12

Our son Jon is moving and can't take all his cats to his new place.  So, we took two of them.  Here is Molly, the gray cat, and Morgan the orange cat.  Both girls adore each other.

Finn's 3rd Birthday 9-10-12

It's been a while since I posted, so I'll catch up with some of our animal highlights.

This is Finn on his 3rd birthday.  Such a handsome boy.
