Chickens Out 12-27-09

The snow is gone after a couple days of rain. The girls are glad to be out in the grass. Then Pearl dug a hole under the coop to take a dirt bath.

Cat Tape Dispenser 12-25-09

Joy's youngest brother-in-law saw a cat tape dispenser at a yard sale and got it for me. Thanks Nick. Here it is on my desk with Snickers, the computer-desk cat.

Finn's First Christmas 12-25-09

Finn went with us to Philly for Christmas. He did great. He found a basket to sit in. Joy couldn't get enough of holding him. Jon and Finn took a nap.

My Grandchickens 12-25-09

Sharon's chickens. Beaker is white. Snyder is charcoal grey with the feathers on top. Both were out while the kids were sledding. The two youngest chicks are still in the house, too young to put out in the cold. This is my city-dwelling daughter. Wonder how many other Philadelphians have backyard chickens.
