First night we put all the chickens in the coop. There are three perches for them. But Sophia always sleeps in one of the nesting boxes.

- I love my animals. I have a houseful of cats. I currently have 7 inside cats. I feed and love on many neighbors' outside cats. We got our first chickens in the spring of 2007. What a wonderful adventure. We take our hens to nursing homes for chicken programs. We might be the only people with therapy chickens.

Sophia probably sleeps there because her rear is so large and puffy! She'd be all unbalanced and tip over easily, otherwise! :-)
